The Italian ballerina shoes, used for dancing the Sorrento tarantella, were also influenced by tradition. This dance is famous in the magical Gulf of Naples for its sensuality and playfulness. It holds a special significance for them as it is tied to a family memory and serves as a continuous source of inspiration for their handmade ballet shoes. In fact, their grandfather's father, maestro Antonino Ciro de Lizza, composed beautiful tarantellas and barcheroles like "venire al mar," which won the prestigious Piedigrotta prize in 1910.
