The wines have a labelling of DOC and DOCG. Classification of the wine varies from Barbera D?asti, Freisa D?asti, Piemonte Bussanello, Grignolino D?sti, and Spumante Metodo Classico.
A few kilometers from Asti in the town of Maretto, in the hills of Monferrato was born the wine-farm Crotin 1897. The activity is mainly based on the production of DOC and DOCG wine from the vineyards of the company, cultivated according to the rules of organic agriculture.
