Aglianico del Vulture is a DOC wine of the Aglianico vine obtained from the vinification in the purity of the grapes belonging to the vine of the same name, which is found in the vineyards located at the foot of Monte Vulture, a volcano that has been extinct for millennia. The Il Passo company was founded at the end of the 19th century by Francesco Grimolizzi. In 2012 the company began its enological activity in a unique cellar of its kind: entirely excavated in a cave of volcanic rock. This decision stems from the idea of not wanting to sell the product obtained from the vineyard, but to transform it.
