Currently, the vineyards have around 18 hectares of vineyards in some of the best locations of the region, namely: Bricco San Pietro, Saint Martin, Bussia, Camie, and Snack. These are planted with traditional grape varieties like Nebbiolo and Barbera
It all began in 1996, when the young Paolo Monti from Turin, at the time just thirty, bought a historic estate in San Sebastiano, south of Monforte d'Alba. Together with his enologist friend Roberto Gerbino he bought ten barriques from France and won their first wine: a Barbera d'Alba that was put on the market two years later. Monti’s adventure had begun. Since then the company has maintained the philosophy of Paolo and Roberto: "to pursue excellence , expressing precision and quality.
