The Cooperativa Agricola Cantina del Mandrolisai was founded in 1950 and the first harvest dates back to 1952. The structure brings together the members of the territory belonging to the municipalities of Sorgono and Atzara and later members belonging to the municipalities of Meana Sardo, Ortueri and Samugheo (in the province of Oristano). He got D.O.C in 1981. The disciplinary, born on the structural approach of the vineyards, provides for the use of a blend including: Bovale Sardo or Muristeddu, Cannonau and Monica.
