About

"Poggio Ridente," an Italian gem, crafts exceptional wines. Explore their vineyards and savor the essence of tradition in every bottle.

Poggio Ridente is a testament to a family's enduring love for the land and its bounty. Nestled in the heart of Cocconato, their winemaking journey intertwines with a rich history of agriculture, Fassone Piemontese cattle farming, and viticulture.

Cecilia Zucca and her family, despite the urban exodus trends of their time, continued their agricultural legacy in Cocconato. Alongside vineyards, they raised the prized Fassone Piemontese cattle, known for producing some of the world's finest meat.

The connection to the land remained strong, and Cecilia's employment at the Dezzani winery in Cocconato further deepened her ties to viticulture. The memories of this region's potential for producing quality wine were a nostalgic refrain in the stories of the locals.

Inspired by these reflections and her husband Luigi's family involvement in winemaking, Cecilia embarked on a shared journey of passion and dedication. Their shared love for the land and the desire to preserve its traditions kindled the spark of innovation.
