With the start of the project, the first vines of Lambrusco Grasparossa, one of the oldest native vines in the world, were planted. The name "Grasparossa" derives from its particularity: the reddish shades that the leaf assumes in the last days of September and throughout the autumn period. In the following years other vines have been added such as Trebbiano di Modena, whose grapes are the basis of the production of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and Malbo Gentile.
