About

The Monferrato grapes are notable for its diversity, with wines made from Barbera, Grignolino, Ruche? Malvasia, Freisa, Albarossa, Cortese, Brachetto, and Dolcetto. Here, Nebbiolo accounts for barely 6% of Piedmontese vineyards.

The Ivaldi family has been producing wine in Monferrato since the early 1800s. Winemakers for generations, have spread the art of the production of sweet wine throughout the valley.
The famous Passito so praised in the 70s by Luigi Veronelli on a visit to the Ivaldi family, still remains today a giant of the company.
