About
The Federico Mencaroni Company grows various types of autochthonous vines. The clay and limestone soil are best for growing varieties like Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Verdicchio, and Montepulciano. The owner also cultivates unique Malvasia and Biancame.
The Mencaroni Winery has a vine area represented for the most part by white berried grapes such as Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi (the king of the Marche vines) together with Malvasia and Biancame to which are added red grapes such as Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
