Carmignano is considered as the Medici family wine and it has been the first and unique DOCG in Tuscany
70 hectares of beautiful vineyards all around Villa Medicea La Ferdinanda (UNESCO heritage), with noble vines such as Sangiovese and Cabernet, which is said to have been brought to this area by Caterina de'Medici in the sixteenth century. Wines born in a less known, more genuine Tuscany, where the times of the countryside are still the times of life.
