They recently bought a one-hectare vine plot in Castiglione di Sicilia, near Mount Edna, with 50-year old vines of Cappuccio and Nerello Mascalese. The main grapes grown are Nero d?Avola and Frappato, used for making red and rose wines.
We take the name from the contrada Bastonaca, in the heart of Cerasuolo di Vittoria, Frappato and Nero d'Avola. In this land, rich in stories related to wine, rises our young and modern winery with roots in tradition.
