The brand, interpreted in a modern key,  is a perfect synthesis of the history and traditions of this important territory in the center of the Salento peninsula. In fact, it shows a detail of the most significant image of the local historiography: the Basilian fresco of the "Madonna and Child"  around which, a popular legend, traces the foundation of the first nucleus of houses in the village of Guagnano.
