The production of historic vineyards is based on low yields and the fruits reward with clear, elegant and defined wines. In some small plots the soil is ventilated by hand hoeing, while the harvest takes place in small crates after careful selection
On these hills where the vine has always been at home, the first objective was to understand and enhance the richness of the historic vineyards present, considered the heritage of the company. Cultivated around the castle, within an area of about 10 hectares, they date back to about 1940 and with their different indigenous varieties represent the viticultural history of Friuli. These plants, pillars of time, transmit strength at the glance and give balance and structure to the wine.
