About
They produce Doc Eloro Nero d'Avola and Moscato di Noto
Their grapes grow on the 36th parallel, the same latitude as Tunis between the Mediterranean and the Ionian Sea, the southernmost frontier of Italy, the extreme southeastern tip.
At an altitude of 70 meters above sea level, the soils of the area are of medium texture with strong presence of limestone rock, which gives unique colors and scents.
The light here is similar to the African one: besides being beautiful, it facilitates the photosynthesis of the plants and the ripening of the fruits.
