The small Ginestre hamlet was already marked on land registry maps as far back as the 1700s, and it was always been inhabited by vine-growers, who have passed on their passion for working in the vineyards with the skills that are still theirs today.
The Azienda Agricola Le Ginestre is located in the municipality of Grinzane Cavour about 6 km from Alba, in the hills of the Langhe in Piedmont, where the production of Barolo has its roots in the history of this territory.
