On the 45 hectares of vineyards, Piero Rossi Cairo, the owner of the estate, uses only biodynamic methods to grow rich-quality Cortese/Barbera. Using these grapes, the company produces two pearls: the Gavi DOCG Pis and the Gavi DOCG Riserva.
Today La Raia produces three types of award-winning Gavi DOCG - Gavi, Gavi Riserva and Gavi Pisé, our cru - and two types of Piemonte DOC Barbera. For the winery was chosen an ancient and environmentally sustainable natural building technique, that of pisé, which harmonizes with the gentle Piedmontese hills surrounding La Raia.
