Twenty hectares of vineyards have been planted in sandy soils with clay substrates of the Gigliotto Tenute. All the vineyards have a southern exposure at an altitude of about 400 m s.l.m. and with a strong influence of the winds coming from the Mediterranean Sea, which as the crow flies is a few Km.The vineyards are all planted with espaliers with an average density of about 4,000 vines per hectare and bred guyot. This technique allows to have for each vintage a production of the fruit from new shoots, this ensures a longer life of the vineyard and a better quality of the grape.
