The main grape varieties that grow here are Catarratto, Nerello Cappuccio, Nerello Mascalese, and Carricante. The best grapes are used to make their famous red, white, and rose wines.
The vineyard is located about 650 meters above sea level. The traditional sapling cultivation allows the exclusive manual processing throughout the year. The cultivation is composed exclusively of native Etnean vines with an average age of 80 years and with a presence of numerous subjects over 100 years of pre-phylloxera era, from which derives a production of Etna D.O.C.
