Cantine Risveglio is a soc. coop. for shares founded in 1958 by a group of winemakers from Brindisi. In those years the policy of rationalization of agricultural production encouraged the creation of enterprises in collective form in order to concentrate supply and improve the bargaining power of farmers on national markets.
