About

For cultivating a vast range of vines, Gianni Doglia Winery practices sustainable viticulture. Barbera wines find their maximum expression, along with other autochthonous vines such as Moscato, Grignolino, Ruch, and Favorita.

Among the globally known grape families, the Moscato is among the largest and most varied. It is one of the oldest types in the world. There are historical traces related to ancient Greece that refer to Muscat, which was locally called Anathelicon Moschaton, as well as testimonies related to the viticultural history of the ancient Romans, who nicknamed Uva Apiana the variety Moscato, as it is particularly loved by bees for its extraordinarily sweet aromas.
