About
The Antica Cascina dei Conti di Roero wine company was set up in the 1950s when the Valmenara farmhouse in Vezze d?Alba was bought by the Olivero family. They planted vineyards in Certuti in Canale, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site now.
Roero is not only vineyards and wine. It is a land rich in biodiversity, which for Antica Cascina dei Conti di Roero represents a unique heritage. The lands on which Daniela and Luigi produce the wines of Roero Docg and Spumanti, re-emerged from the sea over 3 million years ago, preserving until today the great geological richness that distinguishes the territory of Roero.
