About
"La Cantina Dezzani," established in 1934 in Cocconato D'Asti, is rooted in the picturesque Riviera del Monferrato. With a rich history and authentic tradition, they craft exceptional wines, including Barbera, Albarossa, Cabernet, and Syrah. Generati
It was the profound love for their land and wine that led Luigi Dezzani, the patriarch, to establish this historic cellar in 1934. At that time, it was dedicated to local grape production and distribution. The enthusiasm passed down to his son, Romolo, was the key to their success during the '70s and '80s when Dezzani, now more structured, extended its reach beyond the borders of Piedmont, becoming a beacon of Piedmontese authenticity throughout Italy.
The third generation is represented by the oenologist Luigi, who continues his father Romolo's philosophy, spreading the Dezzani brand to international markets. Their journey in winemaking is reflected in the production of high-quality wines, recognized and cherished by customers worldwide.
Today, the continuity of this historic winemaking tradition is upheld by the Rocca family, who have been immersed in the world of wine for five generations. Together with Villa Rivalta, a cooperative of hundreds of families with approximately 1,000 hectares of vineyards, they create vital synergies. These collaborations, combined with meticulous supply chain control, modern technologies, and a deep love for wine, ensure that Dezzani produces some of the finest wines in Langhe and Monferrato. These wines are imbued with distinctiveness, originality, and regional character.
