Wine has been produced in the abbey’s cellars since its foundation. Today its countryside in the hills of Teramo are still known mainly for its vineyards, so much so that here, between the 80s and 90s, was born the Abbey of Propezzano, one of the first wines in the area to enjoy international fame.
