The Bava family has been growing vines in this area since 1600 and in 1911 built their first winery here. More than one hundred vintages have passed since the creation of the Cocconato winery and six generations have alternated. The best Barbere Bava, over time, have become known in many countries of the world thanks to the high quality of this production.
