In 1910, Marrone Pietro, at the age of 23, asked Father Edoardo to be able to cultivate some vines according to then revolutionary techniques: decrease production to have a higher quality and not to sow wheat in the rows, then normal practice. Of course the family grapes become the most beautiful in the country and slowly all the vineyards are converted to modern vineyards.
