About

Nestled in the hills of Barbaresco, "La Vedetta" is a World Heritage Site.

La Vedetta is situated in an exceptional area within the Barbaresco denomination, characterised by a unique microclimate, vineyard morphology, and location. Nebbiolo grapes are used to cultivate Cà Grossa, which is both the distinctive feature and the qualitative core of La Vedetta's production. A cru situated halfway between Roncagliette and Rio Sordo with huge expressive potential.

Cà Grossa has an unusual microclimate. The grapes harvested here are guaranteed to have a specific acidity level due to the region's eastern exposure, proximity to the Tanaro River, and presence of trees and hazelnut groves. This results in wines that are notably fresh and sapid and can age for extended periods of time.
