About
The Enoteca Cotti is an institution of Milan's food and wine scene: founded in the early years of this century, it is located in the heart of the city.
The current owner, Luigi Cotti, took over in 1952. He comes from a family that has been in the wine business for four generations, and he helped bring about the "revolution" that occurred in Italy when the focus in the wine industry shifted from quantity to quality. Giorgio, a sommelier, runs the business with his wife Tina. Because of his passion and love for the subject, Cotti refused to deal with low-quality products; the satisfaction he received more than made up for his sacrifices and commitment.
With over a thousand labels, the Enoteca offers an extremely esteemed selection of crus, allowing patrons to select from the best houses, rare vintages, and collectible bottles.
