About
The name of the trattoria-pizzeria is derived from the well that has been perfectly preserved and can still be seen inside.
Known as the "Pozzo Romano," it can be found in the heart of Assisi on via Sant'Agnese, just a short walk from the Basilica of Santa Chiara and other notable attractions such as the church of Santa Maria Maggiore, little San Francesco, the Roman Forum, the Temple of Minerva, as well as the cathedrals of San Rufino and San Francesco. The ambience exudes a welcoming feel and offers traditional dishes from Umbrian cuisine.
