La Costa is a restaurant with a rich history, established in the early 20th century by the Nessi family in the outskirts of Como.
It was born out of necessity, as the bustling area required sustenance for its hardworking residents. Situated on the Bassone coast, La Costa is more than just a family-run establishment. In 1997, it was renovated by Genazzini Pierluigi and Della Valle Giuliana - both well-known figures in Como's catering scene - along with their children Ivan and Betta. The restaurant has successfully preserved the traditional Lombard cuisine that it is known for. With spacious and inviting interiors, guests can expect a wide selection of wine from various regions and by-the-glass options to complement their meals. And above all, a warm and welcoming atmosphere awaits at La Costa.
