About
Established in the 1970s as a butcher's shop, Osteria Valenti has since evolved into a charming Osteria.
In 2017, it was acquired by Marco Maffeis, a renowned restaurant manager and Professional Sommelier. Following a meticulous restoration in 2018, the restaurant underwent a complete shift in focus: while still offering scrumptious grilled meat, the menu now also boasts traditional Bergamo dishes and a careful selection of locally-sourced cheeses from our valleys. Their fresh pasta is handcrafted and their desserts are homemade. With seasonal changes, their menu is constantly evolving. During winter months, they offer a delectable boiled meat dish with flavorful sauces and a succulent "giro intorno al maialino" served with polenta (available upon reservation). Not to be missed is their signature Fiorentina di Scottona Garronese grilled on hot lava stone for meat enthusiasts or the artisan casoncelli for those seeking an authentic taste of Bergamo tradition. Additionally, their wine list showcases national labels and highlights local wines. They welcome customers to dine à la carte in their cozy and welcoming atmosphere for dinner service.
