Loved by both locals and visitors, Michael Grant was captivated by its simple and genuine food during his time studying abroad in 2007. With his background in corporate finance and operations, Michael convinced the Italian owners to expand to the U.S. under his leadership. To maintain the same level of quality and adhere to tradition, the U.S. team trained at the Florence location, learning secret recipes for bread and sauce as well as understanding the magic of this little "sandwich shop".
