Once the private chapel of the Bentivoglio family, it now houses a welcoming entrance hall adorned with frescoes, along with a long bar counter. The paintings, restored by Cultural Heritage staff, depict various scenes featuring mythological and Christian figures along the walls. According to one lesser-known version, in May 1713, Count Girolamo Bentivoglio transformed the main hall of his palace into a lake where boats transported delicious dishes to gathered guests. Today, Le Stanze continues to impress with its originality and sophistication, catering to a wide range of preferences - from an aperitif or dinner to a glass of wine or international cocktail - all within a Renaissance atmosphere that pays homage to Bologna's artistic heritage.
