About
Nestled on the Castelvecchio rampart, in the heart of Verona, lies a charming historic setting within Palazzo Castellani.
Originally built as a pharmacy in the 18th century, this treasured location has stood the test of time. The first room, adorned with intricate boiserie, serves as a reminder of its past as it miraculously survived a fire that destroyed part of the building. A painting of Madonna and Child was also spared and now resides in a votive shrine at the entrance of the room. In 1831, after undergoing major restorations, the space was repurposed as a delicatessen - one of Verona's oldest.
