The Bruzia pitch, a valuable resource with countless applications in medicine, shipbuilding, crafts, and preservation, was once extracted from the Laricio pine tree by carving fishbone-like channels. By reviving this traditional practice, they stumbled upon a unique path - their own path - which brings them closer to the essence of pitch. Biafora's goal is to follow this route, beginning in the coastal hills and leading to the mountaintops. This short journey encompasses a fertile area abundant in diverse and intriguing natural resources. It serves as the foundation for their cuisine, which is enriched by the chef's expertise and background and draws a map of local excellence. They identify farmers, breeders, and small producers within this chain of economic-social sustainability.
