About
Da Mimmo, the esteemed restaurant in Città Alta, was established in 1956 by his visionary parents, Mimmo Amaddeo and Lina.
Housed in Casazza - a magnificent 1357 palace that once served as the Venetian postal service headquarters - the restaurant exudes a rich sense of history. Here, their love for genuine and uncomplicated cuisine is evident, as they strive to work in harmony with the seasons and nature. This philosophy is ingrained in each dish and is coupled with their constant quest for innovation. The interior of their establishment boasts meticulous attention to detail, while the 14th-century courtyard and terrace overlooking Sant'Agata provide a charming outdoor dining experience. From Breakfast to Midday, through Aperitif to Dinner, they are delighted to welcome guests throughout the day. They are proud members of the Slow Food Alliance, which means that most of their ingredients - including flour, butter, eggs, honey, meats, cured meats, cheeses, milk, vegetables and fruit - are sourced from local and organic producers.
