About
Crotto dei Platani - a historic gourmet restaurant overlooking Lake Como.
The restaurant is spread out across two levels, offering a variety of dining areas. Guests can enjoy the panoramic views from the welcoming verandas, which are suitable for all seasons. Outdoor tables are also available, situated on the lakeside and divided between the dock, pier, and garden.
The talented Chef Andrea Cremonesi leads a team of young chefs who skillfully use local ingredients to create unique dishes that pay tribute to tradition. The establishment itself, known as Crotto dei Platani and established in 1855, features a traditional cellar built into the rock called "crotto." This cellar is characterized by Sorèl, a mysterious current of cold air that flows from the mountains.
