About
The Rovello 18 has a long family tradition, starting as far back as 1950 with great-grandfather Pierino's simple cuisine that earned a well-deserved Michelin Star.
In later years, grandmother Patrizia carried on the passion for good food and was known for her skill in choosing and combining high-quality ingredients. Her warm hospitality always made you want to return before even leaving the table. Cinzia, Patrizia's daughter, turned this passion and experience into a successful restaurant in 1988 and gained recognition as a talented chef. In 2002, together with partner Gualtiero - an innkeeper with a capital "O" and wine connoisseur - Cinzia opened Rovello 18, offering refined and genuine cuisine paired with a carefully selected wine cellar. Michele, Cinzia's son, grew up in this stimulating environment and after gaining experience abroad, he now manages the historic trattoria on Via Tivoli 2. With commitment, passion, joy, and teamwork, Rovello 18 has earned numerous awards over the years and is known for its meticulous sourcing of ingredients, extensive wine selection, and delightful dishes that please all guests' palates.
