In 1943, my parents, Antonio and Anna, established the "Caffè Trattoria A. D'Ambrosio Giuochi Bocce" in a village on the outskirts of the city.
From its beginnings, it has served as not only a culinary hotspot but also a hub for social gatherings in the festive spirit of Bergamasco culture. Workers, students, professionals, politicians, athletes and artists all flock to the establishment for its lively atmosphere and honest, traditional cuisine with a touch of their family's Puglian heritage. The menu showcases Lombard flavors infused with Mediterranean influences that have been passed down through generations.
