Cat cafes appear to be in high demand in southern Italy and the islands. The Nero Miciok cat cafe in Palermo has opened; with a structure that differs slightly from its competitors. The managers' goal is to create a welcoming environment in which "you can feel at home in your grandmother's living room, while chatting, drinking, and eating".
