About
The Bù Cheese Bar offers a unique and enticing concept, showcasing not only Bergamo's finest cheeses but also addressing some culinary deficiencies.
Located on via Monte San Michele (just a stone's throw from central Piazza Dante), this establishment takes on the noble task of bringing the best of Bergamo's dairy craft - the Principi delle Orobie - to the town that is considered the European capital of cheese, boasting nine DOP labels. This multifaceted venue serves as a shop for takeaway purchases, a cocktail bistro, and an upscale restaurant all in one. With its name derived from the dialect word for "good," Bù sets out to masterfully incorporate various elements of quality. Their offerings range from an extensive array of about forty different cheeses - including Strachìtunt, Ribelle storico, Branzi, Stracchino all'antica, Formai de Mut, Grana Padano, Tronchetto di capra orobica and more - to be enjoyed at home or savored within their walls during breakfasts, lunches, aperitivos and after-dinner occasions.
