Originally, SciùRum was designed to showcase Nasser Charles Ayazpour's collection, but it soon became apparent that the company wanted to adapt to Palermo's hectic and aggregative nature. Consequently, SciùRum became a concept store where everything is available for sale and where one can eat (Sciù) and drink (Rum).
