About

The Caveja is a well-known symbol in Romagna, representing the pin used to tow or brake carts or plows.

While originally made of wood, it was eventually replaced with metal due to its durability against the powerful oxen. One distinctive feature of the Caveja was its attached ring, which would make a rattling noise during release maneuvers. This sound amused farmers, leading them to add more rings and turning the Caveja into a symbol of Romagna's singing soul.

The region is also known for its beloved piadina, a food that can only belong in Romagna with its sunny beaches, friendly people, and cheerful yet hard-working lifestyle. This traditional food is made with local ingredients and packaged in local factories, making it unique to the region. Its versatility makes it suitable for any occasion - whether it be a break, lunch, happy hour, appetizer or dinner among friends.
