La Barca serves delicious seafood in the city of Milan.
The founders, Father Franco and mother Elena, have passed on their legacy to their children: Domenico, who serves as their chef, pastry chef, and sommelier; Andrea, their sommelier in the dining room; and Giuseppe, their executive chef. Their seafood is sourced from the Milan fish market with frequent shipments from Mazara Del Vallo, Olbia, Porto Santo Spirito Manfredonia, Gallipoli and Trieste. They would like to remind their valued customers that the availability of "fresh fish" depends on the current market conditions.
Please also note that their cuisine is made "express" style which may result in slightly longer wait times than usual. To preserve the quality of their seafood, all purchases from the market are immediately blast chilled to -24°C using professional equipment. This not only maintains the flavor of the product but also ensures its safety for consumption when served raw. Some products may have been frozen beforehand during transport or on board fishing vessels.
