About
In medieval Japan, the "Basara" were a group of samurai who did not conform to the uses and customs of society. The BASARA brand is inspired by this philosophy of independence and strength.
The BASARA brand was born in 2011 with the opening of the restaurant in Via Tortona, in the beating heart of Milanese fashion, designed as a ''modular restaurant'' capable of satisfying the gastronomic needs of every moment of the day. In 2019 this restaurant obtained the AIC certification, for a guaranteed 100% Gluten Free cuisine .
The second restaurant was born in 2014 in Corso Italia, offering an innovative take away and delivery service throughout Milan.
With the proven formula of the other premises, in 2015 BASARA opens its doors also in Venice, in Calle Lunga San Barnaba, Sestiere di Dorsoduro.
In 2017 it overlooks the new panorama of the Costa Smeralda in the Promenade du Port in Porto Cervo.
In 2018 the BASARA sushi corner is presented, a proposal to bring the BASARA experience wherever you want.
Also in 2018, two realities were born in Milan: the fifth restaurant of the group, in via Washington and the Japanese food academy, to train professionals in the sector and organize amateur courses for those who want to get closer to the art of sushi.
2019 BASARA Rinascente is born, inside the Food Hall on the seventh floor of the store in Piazza Duomo, Milan.
