About
In July 2006, Pili embarked on a new entrepreneurial venture with Antica Osteria del Mare.
In 1961, Salvatore Pili, a native of Arbus, a small town in the province of Cagliari, relocated to Milan in pursuit of opportunities in the catering industry. Inspired by his brothers who had also left the island to work elsewhere, Pili gained experience in various restaurants before eventually opening La Carbonaia Mare on Piazza Sant'Ambrogio in 1979. This 75-seat restaurant focuses on Sardinian and Mediterranean seafood cuisine using fresh and high-quality ingredients.
