About
Located in the charming backstreets behind Porta Venezia, reminiscent of Paris' Marais district, Égalité has quickly become a popular spot thanks to master baker Thierry Loy.
The well-rounded menu caters to all kinds of tastes and preferences, attracting a diverse and discerning crowd from early morning until 9 pm. While the name boulangerie may bring to mind the classic Parisian bakery with its iconic baguettes, Égalité offers much more than that. This spacious yet cozy 200 square meter space serves as a pastry shop, café, and restaurant all in one, perfect for a delicious lunch, relaxed aperitif or even to purchase fresh baked goods to take home. The bread here is made continuously in an open laboratory using ancient wheat varieties and flour from Minoterie du Trièves, a renowned mill in the French Alps. And as for treats? There's no shortage here: pain aux raisins, buttery croissants, chausson aux pommes and pain au chocolat.
