Established in 1981, the Demelas Biscuit Factory is a renowned Sardinian pastry and fresh pasta workshop located in the municipality of Stintino.
Tucked away in the town of Pozzo S. Nicola on Via Marconi 3, just a few kilometers from the area's picturesque beaches, it is a must-visit destination for tourists, especially during the summer months. Dedicated to upholding tradition, head pastry chef Giovanni M. Piras carefully selects locally-sourced ingredients to craft each product with precision. From ingredient selection to sale in our newly renovated shop, every detail is thoughtfully considered. As for Giovanni's son Claudio, he shares his father's passion for pastry making and graduated from one of the top pastry chef academies. Highly skilled and creative, he earned recognition from esteemed experts in Sardinia and has since joined forces with his father at Demelas Biscuit Factory. Together with their dedicated staff and state-of-the-art equipment, they have successfully combined innovation with tradition to create a wide range of delectable treats including Amaretti, Papassini, Ricottelle, Formaggelle, Bianchini, Ciambelline, Aranzada and Catò.
