About
Under a car park lies a Roman bath from the 1st century CE.
The site was first excavated in the 1970s. In the later years, a carpark was constructed to suspend above the 1st-century CE baths. A series of elevated walkways allow visitors to view the ruins from two streets. It is possible to view the remains and excavation work from two small showrooms with explanatory panels. Visitors can see the remains in their full glory and the excavation process taking place.
