The Cappella di San Zenone is a lateral chapel part of the Basilica of Santa Prassede, in Rome. The Chapel stands out due to its collection of early Christian mosaics, a wonderful example of Byzantine art in Rome. The structure is considered a unique example of Carolingian Renaissance style in Rome and its beauty earned it the moniker the “Garden of Paradise.” The Chapel dates back to the ninth-century and was constructed on the orders of Pope Paschal I.
