About
a literary park established in honor of the late writer, filmmaker, and intellectual.
On November 2, 1975, Italian filmmaker, writer, and intellectual Pier Paolo Pasolini was murdered in circumstances that remain unclear in this park. Pasolini's tragic event was memorialized by a stele, surrounded by quotes from his poetry, in 2005, when the Municipality of Rome made it a Literary Park. It is managed by the Italian Bird Protection League (LIPU), so Pasolini fans and birdwatchers alike often visit the park.
